It is no coincidence that a winged creature represents each class here at MDS. It reflects our work that is rooted in lessons of independence. This enables every little child to grow, develop, and someday fly. It is a juxtaposition of beauty and sadness when these little ones leave the nest that is MDS. But we gain confidence in knowing that we have sufficiently prepared them and their families for their next steps in education. Exmission for us is not just the identifying of a new school or kindergarten. It is the support we provide each family enabling them to:

• Take a holistic look at what each new program has to offer

• Understanding the difference between public, charter, and independent schools

• Speak with the school's admissions directors before the application process
